We’ve scored two good looking goals under the recent direction. And personally I feel Bell and Stamenic are syncing better. The defense seems to be much looser though.
I enjoyed our football under Hay, but we struggled to score.
And we still don’t know everything about the circumstances surrounding McCowatt and Rojas not playing in or being available for the play off.
Maybe someone like Coveney or Elliot would be a good fit for the team? Perhaps with an eye to a mentor/facilitator type coach with senior players heavily involved? Who’d likely select the CC boys? Plus we need help with our strikers!
Let’s be honest having the players involved in decisions worked well 2009/2010. And it’s been interesting so far under the Bell captaincy. Tbh I’d like Bell to keep the captaincy when Wood returns based on these two games.
And I think Berhalter could be said to have had more success comparatively with the USA than Hay had with NZ? Though he’s had to reveal some highly unflattering things about himself, the team had performed under him.
