This means that so far, resultwise, we are at least better than:
1.) France, Algeria, Nigeria on one point.
2.) Italy on two points.
3.) Greece on three points but on -2 goal difference.
4.) Serbia on three points but on -1 goal difference.
That is 6 teams worse than us at the moment.
Looking ahead:
If Japan or Denmark don't draw, then one of them will have at least a -1 goal difference and so will be worse than us, whilst the other will be better ->50/50 chance
Cameroon needs to beat Netherlands by 2 goals to match us or 3 goals to be better than us. -> unlikely chance
Korea DRK has to beat Ivory Coast by 8 goals to match us or 9 goals to better us.->unlikely chance
Ivory Coast has to beat Korea DRK to better us. A draw means they are worse than us.->50/50 chance
Switzerland has to draw or win against Honduras to do better. -> likely a draw and have 4 points. A lost means at least a -1 goal difference -> unlikely chance.
Honduras has to win by 4 goals to do better by goal difference ->unlikely chance.
Prediction:
We will more than likely end up better than Cameroon, Korea DRK, Ivory Coast and Honduras.
Therefore we are likely to be placed about 22nd out of 32 finalist in the 2010 World Cup Tournament.
Does that feel good?? That is 6 places away from the round of 16.

Three for me, and two for them.
Not necessarily - an undefeated team may be knocked out on penalties in the knock-out stages (such games are officially counted as draws).
Not bad considering one of the goals against us was a dubious penalty. And having beaten Serbia in a friendly (12th ranked team) before the tournament. All in all mission objective achieved. No 7-0 thrashings/humiliations.
Great stats there AWB. Nelsen on Prime suggesting that he felt he and 'they' had let us down by not winning. Ryan, you and the team didn't let anyone down, you all did yourselves and youre country proud. You guys can all walk around with your heads held up high.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

And the other an offside goal.

Was that ours or theirs.
