Thanks for the flattery

My country, Bahrain is very small in the Gulf region, although small, its very great importance in the region.

Bahrain, before five thousand years ago was called Dilmun, was also called the land of immortality, I found site can benefit from it. http://www.bahraintourism.com/

Meaning of the name of my country (Bahrain): Double Sea, where our forefathers in the past, extract fresh water from fountain, lower the sea water near the shore, where first the sea was salty, and the sweet second.

Bahrain religiously tolerant country, the majority Muslims, there are also Christ and the Jews live among us without a difference, do not be surprised to find a mosque and interview the church, and believes in Bahrain all types of people, because it is a transit in the region.

Bahrain is financial center in the region and contains most of the main branches of international banks.

There is a parliament in Bahrain, constitutional democracy, not hide from you that there are political problems between the government and people, but people are very peaceful.

All the people are educated, and the vast English-speaking, education is free, and health care free of charge.

  Sorry for the prolongation

.

My name is Isa and I'm a fan of football game , the strongest clubs in the current period is  Muharraq Club was founded in 1928 as the first sports club in the Gulf region.

Each year Bahrain organizes the world championships Bahrain Formula 1, and this year will open the season in Bahrain on March 17, 2010.

Some friends here blame on some press releases,  I tell him this was normal between the sports newspapers and we see a lot in European countries, but does not mean that all that  written is the truth, but to create excitement among the fans.

My sincere greetings to the public  Of New Zealand

Hi

Yes, there are Arab Jews in Bahrain for hundreds of years, such as Nuno family which  famous in the trade of banking and gold sales, and they are loyal only to Bahrain, as well as Bahrain's Ambassador to the USA are a Jewish woman.
There is no antagonism between the Islamic religion and the Jewish religion and the Christian religion because it is divine religions, Muslim hostility against the Zionist occupier only in Israel.

I hope that you may have understood it clearly.
I welcome your inquiry and wish you well.
Thank you

Mr Bahrain man

Where is a good place for all New Zealanders (apart from the team) to meet for a few drinks on the Friday night before the game?  It seems most of us are arriving that day, so would be good to have something organised.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite

I could ask the same to Israel in regards to the Palestinians (iMuslim and/or non Jewish).
Bahrain is renowned for its open views, which are totally different from other Gulf States. 8 million people visit it every year..there must be a reason!

Most of the bars are found at the higher class hotels from what i've been told. Also drinking is expensive on this side of the world, a beer is 10 - 15 dollars each. A double whiskey close to 30.

Sp get your duty free as you come in, load up and then hit out... or atleast that is what i will be doing.

((And select the southern runway to the right of the stage to sit the public side of New Zealand, has been allocated 2000 seats, will be the ticket price (seven dinars and 500 fils  20$) and decides to open the doors, starting at three in the afternoon, with the kick-off will be at 6:30 in the evening)).

Bahrain is renowned for its open views, which are totally different from other Gulf States. 8 million people visit it every year..there must be a reason!

I recommend watching Aljazeera International, the English language service of the biggest Arab TV news and current affairs network in the Gulf, which broadcasts from nearby Qatar, (which is also an increasingly open society and does much to foster peace in the region).
Many former BBC journalists work for this station, including the legendary David Frost.

Aljazeera will be covering the NZ- Bahrain games over the next month, both in print and in video on its website:

See Aljazeera's sports page: http://english.aljazeera.net/sport/

Aljazeera news and current affairs shows (including sport) are also broadcast in NZ daily on Sky TV on the "Stratos" Channel (Channel 89).
The Auckland-based Stratos are also broadcasting local football soon, including Oceania Champions League matches involving Aucklnd City and Waitakere.

A question for our friend Mr Bahrain: what is the weather likely to be like in Manama next Saturday for the game? Maybe you can keep us posted on current weather conditions... I read that temperatures in October are between 27 degrees C. and 33 degrees C. with humidity about 70 % - and it never rains at this time of year. What is the evening temperature at 6pm?

Aljazeera is a good news channel, I have watched a few times in NZ. It appears very unbiased, which is very different to American news channels

Aljazeera is much like BBC, but for the Middle East.
