The timing makes things a little inconvenient (for those of us in NZ at least). What's your plan? Bevan2009-10-09 15:41:03

Alarm at 4.05am.  Coffee, couch, telly.

For some reason I like to watch big games in total isolation.

I'll try and sleep until 3:30, but won't be able to let the nerves settle. Will then find an online stream, and maybe attempt to convince my brother and cousin to watch the game.

Early night, then off to the Four Kings. I have managed to rope in five troops and my guess is that there will be a decent turnout.

The last time I looked forward to a game of footy as much I was standing under the Eiffel Tower, hours before Scotland's battling 2-1 defeat against Brazil in the opening World Cup game at France '98.

C'mon All Whites!

Nearly missed it, somehow I ended up sleeping on my phone and switched it off, meaning no alarm. Luckily I woke up at 4am.

I'd have voted the "home somewhere else in the world" option but there was none. God bless SETANTA.

Dewhurst might have his critics - but f**k me.  Star Sports Asia.  Some cloth cap and an Indian sidekick.  Worst commentary I've ever heard in the English language.  Stevo2009-10-11 07:03:52

Don't forget the Festival of Football on the 14th from AM until it's time to head to Newtown.  Street Football, Freestyle football and (if we get our crap together) buses to newtown for the NZFC match.

Also TeeDubs game now almost certainly 15:00 on the 14th.
