Hi

I've locked in a trip to central Europe for the AW games and was curious as to who else is going to be at either of the games.

I want to get my tickets soonish but as their appears to be no dedicated New Zealand area (Serbia game anyway), would like to know where any other traveling fans might be sat.

Also the price for the Slovenia game seems to be over 100 Euros, that seems quite steep compared with under 30 for the Serbia game.  Does anyone know anywhere cheaper then this website to purchase them from:

So has no one living in the UK given any thought to attending these games.  I'm aware that there has been very little press about it (ie nothing in TNT), but would like to hang out with some fellow kiwis.

Anyway, cant wait for these two games.  Haven't seen the AWs since the Wales game.

I'm pretty certain to attend. Will probably buy tix within the next 4-5 days. I'm probably going with 3 or 4 others from London also. So if more are interested PM me soon as, and we'll take tio forward via email.

Be nice to try and get a few people seated together if possible.

I was keen, but i looked at flights back when the dates were announced and again more recently and there was nothing cheap enough - i have little/no leave to use to make it worth while

I bought some tickets to Serbia game before spotting this Thread.  A couple of us are sitting in Row 15, Section A22.  The booking website seemed to show plenty of spare seats still available and they were 22 Euros for right on the centre line - the more White shirts around the better.

Cool, thanks for the heads up "Black n White" and "phil style".  Am buying tickets over the weekend so good to know where some white shirts will be.

Not sure we have the right site for the Slovenia game tickets.
Has anyone made any progress on that one??

Have had a hunt but that's all I can find.  Their FA website doesn't sell tickets and I would imagine that given this is their last game at home before traveling to SA they expect a full house anyway.

Thanks for that Edward 1.  I nearly gave up on the game and was going to fly straight back to England after the Serbia game.  Cant wait for these two matches disco_mart2010-05-11 22:54:56

I just wanted to put some travel information up as it may be helpful to someone...

By far he cheapest way to get to Maribor to see the All Whites v Slovenia game is to fly Ryanair,
flights from London Stanstead to Graz Austria on Thursday the 3rd of June are only 11.99 + taxes and card fee so around 20.99 all in.
On the Friday the 4th flights are only ï¿½5 more 16.99 + fees 26.99 .
The Friday flights get in to Graz at 14.25 hrs.
Directly outside Graz airport is a train station which will take you to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) in Graz city centre where you can change for a train to Maribor,
Maribor is only one hour away on the train so even if you take the friday flight you will still be in good time to get to the match as kick off is at 20.45 hrs.
* For the Friday flight you should make the train at 16.36 hrs that arrives in Maribor at 17.38 hrs
the trains run every 2 hours and cost 13 euros one way
There are no return flights on Saturday from Graz to Stanstead so you are left with the option of staying in Maribor or going back to Graz and saying there for one night.
The Sunday flights back from Graz to Stanstead on Ryanair are more slightly more expensive around 70.00 all in with fees. The Monday flights are well cheaper at half the price around 32.00 all in.

The better choice is to continue the party in *Ljubljana by train from Maribor and fly back to Stanstead from there on easyjet which is what I'm doing.
Easyjet flights are an extortionate 130 on Sunday the 6th but only 72 odd pounds on Monday the 7th - nice work if you can get the day off.
I'm desperate to go to the Serbia game as well but unfortunately work won't give me the time off. :(

* And if you don't fancy Ljubljana well there's always Zagreb, Rijeka or Trieste.
