Its been engineered for the higher altitudes of South Africa, its been dubbed the most sophisticated ball of all time (covered in heaps of tiny fins to aid in swerve because the air is so thin). Apparently Auckland City were given 40 of them for their World Club Cup stint...
The replica balls are really nice though, they leave the foot sweet as but if you hit them hard enough they tend to move around in the air a bit at the height of their path, which can be bad news for keepers.
I also went into Rebel (porirua) to buy a couple more but they had sold out of all colours.

So I guess playing with these balls in high altitude (sorry sounds rude) will cause problems for keepers? as AW's games will be. Here that Mr Paston. :)

They fixed half the problem, they added the fins to the balls surface so that it retains the properties of a 'normal ball in normal conditions'. Because the air is so thin, the main worry was that the ball wouldnt swerve as much if a player wanted it to because of less air resistance, so the fins increase resistance allowing swerve. The ball will still apprently travel 5% quicker/further though.
