YF zone for the Fiji game?

Fijian fans made quite a lot of noise last time a footy match was played in Auckland. Would be good if a decent number of the YF trained people are able to seat themselves in a "home fans zone" (obviously location to be determined through discussion here on the forums)and belt out some songs. . .. ..

Right in the middle near the tunnel so when the players go out they
see the YF.

The top of Block 5, where the vocal NZ support have stood at NHS
since 1999.

Nice suggestion HN.
Perhaps BLOC 5 could be fully re-vived as the All-White's
Supporter's Club? ? ?

Straight up SH1, keep going over the bridge, get off at Oteha
Valley Road, turn left. Over roundabout, can't miss stadium. Don't
park in it as they charge $10 and its a f**king rip off. Park
at Albany Speights Ale House, short walk

No car. Had to sell it 'coz it was haunted

Fingers crossed there'll be a cheap bus or something...

In that case:
Intercity coaches.... around $70 if I remember correctly. Overnight, if ya lucky it'll be close to empty. Drops ya off at the Sky Tower, early in the morning. Get some brekky have a walk around. Walk to the buses, take the 875. All the way over the bridge... takes you along East Coast Road on the Shore.... get off at Northcross lights (just before it turns off to browns bay). Walk along Oteha Valley Road, you'll see the stadium eventually.
Or carpool with HN ;)

If I was driving I'd offer, but I'm on the tin budgie to Hamiltron
then rental up and fly back from Auckland. I can offer a lift
over the Shore...

Not sure it's gonna happen for me but many thanks

Seatts had an interview on radio sport at about 5.50 this
afternoon. This game all hinges on the minister of
immigration granting the Fijian team visas.

So it might not even go ahead? ridiculous!

Public transport across the bridge folks:
On the basis that the game is on, those
seeking transport across the car-strangled spanner would be prudent
to use the Northern Express bus service, which on Saturdays,
departs Britomart every fifteen minutes, arriving at the Albany
Park & Ride station circa thirty minutes later. The P&R is
fifteen minutes walk from the ground.
Northern Express buses back to Britomart run on the half-hour from 6pm, with the last one departing at 10.30pm (for the ale-ienated!)
One way fare is $5.40, while an Adult Day Return fare is $10.40 - only a 40c saving, but ...

Also keep in mind the Naked Bus service for longer travel...a bit
cheaper than the mainstream bus companies usually.

Blimey, what's this nonsense about waiting for visas? Would
we forfeit some points without kicking a ball????
