Interestingly when we kicked off we just booted it up the wing and IT ACTUALLY REACHED A PLAYER! That's the only time I've ever seen it happen. It fails in the A-League all the time.

Yeah so much possession but wild long shots that miss the goal. Not one on target. Mazembe best to try for the wing cross because they aren't getting nothing through the middle. The other option for the africans is to sit back a tad more to reduce their defence depth (ie the defence line to GK is smaller so there is better defence cohension) and go for the counterattack as it is their strength. I think we will see that type of play in the second half by Mazembe. Their use of possession at close quarters is speculative skill play but no real penetration.

Yup. Plenty of end to end stuff despite Mazembe possession and long shots at times.
Might get to penalties, the commentator saying there is no extra time, straight to penalties because of making TV time for the next match on the same ground.
