Question....

"Is this the best Waikato team so far or is this just the worst ASB/NZFC so far?"

Question....

"Is this the worst ACFC team ever and how long will the board allow this to continue?

Question...

"Is Mr Waikato's the best User Image/Avatar ever to appear on Yellow Fever?"

In response to your question - probably best Waikato team as ASBNZFC seems fairly strong from what I've seen of it.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Really??
Waitakere dont look as good as in previous years minus totori and with emblem, sykes and bullock looking older
Auckland City look a shadow of their former selves minus any steel and certainly minus the scoring threat of Young and Jordan
Manawatu would get relegated from the northern league - very poor side!
Waikato tough to say.. keeper not as good as the American we had a few years ago, left back not as good as Wylie, right back not as good as Mathews, noone as good as Marco was.. HICKS looks the goods as does Sam Margetts now he is a bit older. Not seen much of Nikolic but he scores...

Wellington, Canty, Otago, Hawkes Bay ??? not seen

Waikato were top at Xmas one year. I think it consisted of the above players mentioned aswel as Hogg , Hollaway and Pearce. Not sure who else was there but that mustve been close to Waikatos best side.  Hicks seems to be playing well and adds a new demention to the side. Waikato will be touch n go for a playoff spot.

Why are we (you) trying to find reasons to run down the current Waikato team and the league?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

If I were to take a guess Smithy I would say that the Waikato folk are a bit pissy that its not their players and their coach. What they don't realise is that for the majority of the 6 years of the league, its been done their way largely with the bulk of their players and other than 1 season, failed. Within those 6 years, the Waikato public have not always been onboard either so.....

Its good for the league that they are playing enterprising football and getting some results.

I think he went home, at least for a bit anyway. Not sure of his whereabouts at the moment.

Three for me, and two for them.

NZF gets $335,000 from FIFA. How about put that money to in televising at least one game a week. When I was trying to tell my neighbours son to come to the Canterbury vs Team Wellington game in Nelson he said he didn't know any of the players so he didn't want to. Seeing them on tv is the best way to get players noticed by fans.

Secondary School netball is getting a one hour TV slot each week on SKY. How is this ahead of national league football!?

Probably because Netball or a Netball sponsor is paying... or more likely it's a sop to womens sport after the Rugby equivalent is hyped as such a huge success by SKY Rugbyvision.
