roy krishna looked very sharp at phoenix training today and knocked in a few goals in a practice match. he looked well and truly the part
Oh my! I do hope he does well like Riera has. It just keeps on emphasising the point that the ASBP is worth watching. Come on down at the weekend everyone and watch a NZ game - kids are free every week!
I endorse your enthusiam - sadly far to many others don't share your welcoming approach (in my experience).
Putting a posititive spin on it - how can ACFC and Waitakere gain more support (obviously the latter needs it more than the former).
Ideas?
From memory you dodn't like coming to ACFC games because you feel unwelcome or rather you feel that they don't include other clubs apart from Central? Have you been to any games? If not, what would entice you? If so, what would improve the experience for you and encourage you back again?
I'm a total addict and will go to extreme lengths to get to the games so I'm not the best to answer your questions. But someone who has been once or twice but not really got into it would be better equipped to suggest improvements.
Like you Ali I love the atmosphere at Kiwitea Street, easily the best in the country for watching football. Three young Brazilian lads studying here turned up for the TW game and even joined in the singing. Said they loved the passion and humour, reminded them of Brazil. They're coming back for the next home game. The trouble is too many NZers/Brits are too dour for their own good, if they turn up they keep quiet. I don't understaand going to a football match and not getting involved. Think the Phoenix suffer this problem too.
