Auckland City Funding

Just went on the Trillian Trust website and Auckland City have received the following grants in 2013

Feb $ 21450, $ 54637 and $ 50740

March $ 65,500

April $ 55,000

May $19800

June $ 41900

July $ 83500

Aug $38k

approx total in 7 months $ 430,000. Things must have been hard in May when they only got $20,000

Also Central Utd in the same period got $192,000

Most clubs struggle to get $5-$10k from Trillian .I struggle how one funder can fund one organisation this much year after year.

Anyone want to put a bet on Waitakere having a different major sponsor this year?

So how does an amateur franchise justify where all this money is going across 2 teams? Infrastructure?

Nah, not even me this time.

There's at least a couple of threads where this is already being discussed.

You wait 'til Wairarapa are in the ASB Prem next season with Keinzley pumping his millions in. That guy could buy the whole Auckland team if he wanted and put them on the books as 'coaches'...it's going to turn this 'amatuer' league into a farce!

How can you turn a farce into a farce? What am I missing here.

Sorry team but I'm banning this thread. There are others as TermX has pointed out.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
