Does anyone know what is going on with these guys?  have they appointed a coach - are they trialling players??

Any details would be great - even someone to talk to?

i've been looking for info for a while now, but not a peep.  no website, no newspaper articles, no media releases.  i assumed that maybe there was talk around auckland about who is involved and what is going on, but i assume that if there was you would have heard it!

expecting to appoint a coach this week from what i've heard.

We got an email looking for a coach from AFF but the email address bounced so I am none the wiser.

Would be good to know something about them as it's a good concept and we would be happy to see our youth players rep them in the ASB Youth League.

Yeah that's a real *facepalm* moment.

Mind you, the only other options you have is a Manukau or South Auckland moniker.

'Brown' and 'South Auckland' would be two I would not want to link together...

surely south auckland something-a-rathers

i've got no problem with using 'united' - better than the over kill of saachi-contrived nicknames that dominate new zealand sports

Who's uniting then to form them?

Three for me, and two for them.

i guess it's all the old Manukau City council based clubs - maybe with the franklin clubs as well?

Just speculation though - I did notice when googling that there is already an academy based at Centre Park called South Auckland Football Academy or something like that.

Should be interesting to see who they hire?  Mickey?

'Otara Millionaires Club' would've been good. But maybe we're not Bogota.

Zing!   Under-20's "branded as Wanderers SC."  (see 2013/14 draw thread)
