Calling All HAWKES BAY UTD supportersi.

The 'Bay Army' will be bigger and noisier this season but we need YOUR support to make sure.
Age is not a factor. If you have a voice , come and join us in the sunshine on the East Stand of Park Island. Everyone who supports the mighty Hawkes Bay United is welcome. We want to make Park Island a place where visiting teams fear to tread. We want the support given to Johnathon Goulds 'dream team' to be the envy of the other 7 franchises. We have drums, we have flags , we have banners, we have a strong core of 'Bay Army' men.but we want to be BIGGER.
East Stand..Park Island..November 9th @ 3PM. vs WAIKATO .
BE THERE.

Hopefully the bay army will be class this year. If you get a big crowd together should be great support for the boys

They were very vocal at FMG stadium last year and there were only about 5 or 6 of them. Big ups

you just wish your club had supporters as keen and dedicated as us.
the only visiting fans that have made a noise at park island in my memory is about 4 aucklanders that we suspected to be gay

What does sexual orientation have to do with someones ability to support football?

Me thinks you don't listen. Ask Bliss or Tom B. They got all wound up about some young fellas making too much noise last season (and they weren't from ACFC).

..Its a behavioura(sp) l thing- If they are gay, they are better behaved in our fair city after being serverely rogered at the Island-i.e they are used to it where the sun dont shine. We don't want 'riff-raff' here in the Bay.

nice one john.
sexual orientation doesnt have anything to do with it. don't read too much into my comments, they really aren't that deep.
zizou if you're referring to those little manawatu kids that were there one day, well, we sure showed them didnt we.
does your mother, does your mother, does your mother know you're here?

That doesn't make it excusable. Using "gay" as a negative connotation is still homophobic and un-necessary.
Besides, surely you could insult Aucklanders much more creatively than that!

Don't hold your breath on that one Robb. I've had this discussion with the BA before.

Actually Smeltz4PM, we shouldn't through stones regarding kids 'cause towards the end of last season,we had attracted 15-20 to our ranks which had been servely depleted with the return of many (of the' older kids') to varsity.Without them, we would've been like General Custer...

Right, cut the ridiculous gay banter.
Wait until you see what the Fever are doing for Team Welly this season. It's immense.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

how immense? trip to Hawkes Bay for an away game immense? do it
hopefully we can get enough keen for more away Hawkes Bay games this year, manawatu, welly and waikato are all possible. i bet john and major tom will be keen as mustard like usual
Permalink

Yea ,I'm keen BUT mother nature can be a bitch in the Fruitbowl of NZ (in light of earlier text I don't think 'fruitbowl' was a good choice). Also the small problem of 'She that must be obeyed'.

righto john, we can discuss further come the start of the season.
f**k i just cant wait for United's first home game. I'm already losing sleep over it

Bit worried now..seems like we've suddenly lost a few players; Jenkins,Hogg,Brockie,Messam(apparently he has developed a 'Big Head' since he went to China-that from a senior teammate of his) and pooibly Geary.
At least we still got Pevs,Fyfey and Mitch..etc..

yeah well done guys, hopefully we will get a few away trips going for games this year...Palmerston will be a must again
Permalink

Messam is gone but Geary is back now.

Dont know apparently 2 aussie but not sure and Geary is just back in h.b untied now.

That's a HUGE loss...in more ways than one.

So what's going on up there? Just when I thought you were going to give us another d*cking this season a third of your side decides to b*gger off.

Messam is a big man but dont think hes a third of the team. And your thoughts are right hb united will still give you a dicking.

yea well i only ever thought messam was useful for the last 10 minutes to give some tired defenders a bit of a run around anyway.
hope someone confirms a draw for the season some time soon, its getting a bit rediculous not even know when your team is playing at home a couple of weeks out from the 1st round. new zealand football up to its old tricks again...

Just responding to what Accy Stan said (Jenkins, Hogg, Brockie, Messam......).

Personally, I rated Messam ahead of Brockie in value for the Bay...Brockie will be missed,he was the type of player that could 'turn it on' and with a moment of magic , win a game for a team.Messam was a more traditional 'up and at'em ' type..more 'in your face'. Having said that, the Hawkes Bay attack was far to pussy like for me, not enough aggression.
