reason he is playing with team wellington

He cant sign for the Phoenix this year because of money but will
have a crack next year. Wants to stay in Welly in the meantime so
has signed for TW.

I see an Auckland club chairman has labelled Benicio signing and TW
moving Barron to marquee status as a "sham".
Would never have happened in Auckland would it!!!!!!!!!!!! Get over it. It's within the rules.

Just met him down at Raf's, seems like a good bloke and he speaks
English well enough, which is always a plus
He will be playing against Waitak.
He also told me to bring as many Feverites down as possible, so
anyone who doesn't usually come to Team Welly matches - WHO ARE
YA? (4pm this Sunday at Newtown Park - BE THERE!)

After seeing him yesterday - Verdict: He can play.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Saw him play for Team Wellington vs Waitakere around xmas. Even
though Wellington got thumped 6-1 I thought he has potential. Quite
short like Felipe but stocky. He played quite deep in midfield
quite often dropping back in front of the defenders in a playmaking
roll.
On the positive side he has a great first touch and passes superbly. On the negative side he looked well short of a run...looked like he needed to work on his fitness.
Rickie was at that game. I guess if he shows good signs he might get some game pre season trial games with the Phoenix to see what he can do at a higher level

My mate in Wgtn said he has a great touch and can pass but when WU
were all over TW on Sunday he went missing. Do we really want a
player that is great going forward but can't defend - seriously we
can score we just can't defend. I think the Nix have too many
players that can't defend making them a team that drops too many
points to be top-drawer. Ricki will fix that but I am not sure that
Caua is the answer. Felipe is a better player going forward and
probably can defend better.

He didn't come on until about the 60th minute, Waitak were dominant
in the first half in the main.
