I see another NZer has played in the english premiership this morning - Chris Woods at WBA - ex Waikato FC - GREAT to see

Doesn't even begin to compare to the site of Ryan Nelsen being given the runaround by Fernando Torres, though, at least where this LFC fanatic is concerned! :-))
 
That first goal ... different class, both in conception and execution!

Conception?

Massive larry long ball, touch away from goal, and a hopefull smash at it with the right peg?

Unbelievable bit of technique to bang it in for sure, and one of the (if not THE) goals of the year, but to blow a load in your pants about the conception of it is a bit f**king rich.

I doubt Torres thought: "I know, the best way to score here is to take a touch away from goal and then lace it up and over that plonker Robinson who is a yard off his line."

More likely it went like this: "Haha, Nelsen you'll never head that...oh f**k...touch away from goal...hmmm, could win a corner?  Nah f**k it, I'll just have a go."
