I shouldn't reply to a twat like you but I will. It has been well documented in reviews of the game that 3000 were at trusts stadium watching. The official attendence released by Waitakere United was 3192. Not bad considering it was mothers day and the game was live on Sky Sport One. Yes, there was alot that were able to attend through freebees and hopefully the majority will all return next time and pay to see the mighty Waitakere United. An appreciative crowd with not many supporting Kossa.

So uncloz, how did it feel watching Waitakere's 5th go in?
I was watching on Sky pissing myself laughing at the thought of all the teeth-grinding going on down at Kiwitea St.Well done Waitakere and good to see in the Herald how serious you are about putting on a good show in Japan. No pressure!

Re the capacity of the stand at Douglas Field. I think there is 3500 seats. On Sunday the back two thirds was full and about 500 spectators were standind at the back walk way. The odd shower that was coming from the South West had the punters in the front high tailing for a better cover. No matter how many times all the ones standing were told that seats were available no one budged. There were about 300 spectators spread around the outskirts of the field. all and all not a bad turnout but not a lot of noise except when the goals went in. I don't want to make an issue of this but how refreshing it was when the Yellow fever mob were up supporting Team Wellington at the NZFC final against the ho hum Auckland city mob who take great delight in sl*gging me and chanting "come on city come on".

Now, if you two wish to have domestics can I suggest you do it via email. It's one thing to have the supporters rucking in here...

he he he, I love it how the YF forums have become a battlefield for old NZ club rivals to continue their long history of sl*gging matches. . . . small pond. . . .

sounds like good numbers in the crowd. Just need to get a few vocal ones. We can give you Coxey on a loan deal

Yeah, invest in some YF fans for the WCC.

At least we make a noise. Waitakere don't have supporters - just spectators. They should go and watch the egg-chasing where they belong.

That's a pretty elitist view, and if they took your advice detrimental to football in New Zealand. So what if they aren't chanting or singing? They are football supporters and they're there to watch the game. If it was only YF members at Nix games the club wouldn't survive.
Someone made a comment about the elitist fans on this forum, you are a prime example.

So Waitakere don't have supporters but ACFC do.
Interesting to correlate that support into results this season....

The same ACFC faces turned up for Waitaks against Kossa & Team Welly. I'm just glad there's any sort of class football in Auckland at all.
