Its clear the reason for his departure is the stigma he will attract for being part of a loosing squad at Park Island this weekend. Wise man George.

aprently just didnt turn up to training over new years. was seen in gisbourne with costa baywatch campground absoultly pissed and sighted then at rhythm and vines. good on ya! but apprently had enough of the west regime at team wellington nothing to do with his brother! hes dropped out of all team wellington activity including the u19s (who 2 are coached by a former wests coach brendan mcyntyre)

He probably dropped out of the Under 19s because he is not, in fact, under 19.

Just a guess.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Is that the wests regime of winning? Surely that cant be a bad thing? Or should we just go back to the old ways of TW and get humped.

I think with a few games to go and the side fairly settled a couple of players have been taking a break.  Not surprising and from what I'm told nobody is pissed off with anybody else.

Don't forget also that players have come in to bolster the midfield which has meant for some the chances of getting a run have dropped off to virtually zero.

George has been named in the Team Wellington squad for the National Youth League, appended with a note saying he is a "member of the TW first squad." There are three other members of the first team squad also named - Sam Peters, Sam Blackburn and Michael Eager. (And a big congrats to Karl Romijn who is also in there!)

Where Andy Barron, hes the one TW are missing.

TW looked more dangerous with Halstead as target man this week, he did some good work. 2 great goals they scored - well worth the admission, even tho I was standing in Jews Alley looking thru the fence.
