I'd argue the EPL is taking away more coverage. See an article a day in the paper, and a massive wrap on the news.

Probably taking just as much of NZFs money too.

Does Team Wellington get much of a run in the Dom Post these days?

It always used to be a feature of the Wellington newspaper scene in the 80s, 90s and even early 2000s that national league matches attracted some very good previews and post-match comment, particularly in the days when there was The Evening Post as well.

Russell Gray, Richard Ives, Steve Rendle etc used to pump out some good copy which must have assisted in an era when the media landscape was less fractured.

10 page pullout every weekend all thanks to the Editors dodgy knee and chance meeting with a physio....

There's a few articles here and there.  Usually (I think, I hardly read the paper anymore) a few pages from the back though.  Not huge promotion by any means.  Nor by radio.

Is that not the case elsewhere?

usually one on Friday and one on Monday. They have been a lot better/longer this year. Previously it usually just mentioned the scorers, results and table position. Now there are quotes etc.
