If Auckland were awarded an A-League licence tomorrow, which local players would make the grade?
Does Vicelich still have the legs? Is Krishna really of this standard? Would Williams be picked ahead of Spoonley? Is Myers better than a good local hack?
Remember that it's one thing to say that ASB Prem imports are good enough for A-League, but quite another thing to say that they would be suitable as A-League imports who are generally of a higher standard than the A-League

McGowen on 100k, Smalley coming in on heaps as well. He in OZ working under Sean Douglas who used to work for AFF. They should have spent the money on keeping their best players and buying more. Apparently they in crap financially. Haven't paid the players from last season. Butler been chased from Wgtn and Hawkes Bay.
