First pro contract for young Luka Coveny.

Signed for the next two seasons - Definitely had a feeling this was coming.

Well done to the lad. 👏

Dumb question, but any relation to Vaughan Coveny? If so, has the youngster got a preference to the NZ or Australia national team?

Yeah he’s Vaughan’s son. He played for us at the U17 World Cup so seems like his allegiances lie with NZ for now.

Firmly in the first team picture - excellent to see! #47

And a first team debut late on in the piece as well albeit in their 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Newcastle.

Ins: 30. Dylan LEONARD (returns from suspension), 47. Luka COVENY (promoted)

Into the Western squad for the weekend, maybe a chance to make his ALM debut?
