Looking at the draw I see Cashmere Technical are playing at Nga Puna Wai, not all of them with the rest at English Park. I think the reason that all the games are not being played at Nga Puna Wai is nothing to do with costs but more to do with venue not being available due to be being used as the training venue for both the Kiwi's and Kangaroo's for the upcoming Rugby League Test(s) in Christchurch in mid-October. Coastal Spirit to play their first National League match against Wellington Olympic at rivals Ferrymead Bays' home, due to Linfield Park being booked out and unable to move dates.
Also heard that Cashmere Technical were offered to play their home matches at Linfield Park due to them not wanting to pay a truck ton on playing at Nga Puna Wai, including the game against Coastal. Seems like they didn't go for the offer.
