I see on the always brilliant nzsoccerscoreboard.com there is a national youth league but I can't find out much other info about it. Nothing on this site (that I can find) and the nzfc site is still 2008.
Can anyone help out? I see that there are a few sides from in and around Auckland in the results, any other regions?

I think it was a combination of that and other things.
Some of the organisation was a bit last minute, so to speak.
Credit to those who did make it happen though. Lots of good yoof getting a run around at a good level, can't be a bad thing.

The above link is to the Auckland Football preview of this year's NYL, with details of the three Auckland squads involved.
BTW, I received my site stats the other day, and Scoreboard is averaging over 14,500 individual visits per month (as opposed to individual hits, which is miles higher!), while Ultimate - which has just enjoyed its first major update of the year - averages over 19,800 visits per month. Needless to say, I'm well happy with those figures! :-))
