I agree, thats the likely final.  ES do have a thin squad so hopefully recruited as much as they can.  They both have a Youth league team as well so some young players may be doing double duty.  

The other teams should be evenly matched, OU probaby victim of their late invite.

Will the 4 Auckland sides  finish 1-4 ?

Unsure if it's been asked here already, but how do signings work with the transfer window closed? I see Auckland United announced Nat Olson signing for their National League campaign.

Think WU while not as strong as last year should hit top four.

Clubs can make signings to replace players who have signed with professional clubs.

there is more to it than that.

The 4 NRFL sides are their squads as at June 30  plus ...
  • 3 additional players who can't be from non-qualifying NRFL sides unless under 20.  
  • as AV said, for every player who signs professional contract, they can get a replacement.
  • plus exemptions for goalkeepers

The non NRFL sides just have to name a squad by some date this week.

Phoenix have whatever is in their participation agreement

Not very confident but an attempt at the final finishing positions. Hard to pick with a strong league this year!
1 - Auckland United. Strong all over again and should win GF too.
2 - Eastern Suburbs. High quality team been shown all year.
3 - WC Rangers. Should have the experience & talent to win more than they lose.
4 - Wellington United. Attack will fire them to enough wins.
5 - Fencibles. A big challenge on comp debut, but could surprise and should still be decent.
6 - Canterbury. Always competitive.
7 - Karori. Squeaked in but still have dangerous players.
8 - Phoenix. Getting more experienced, should grab a couple wins 
9 - OU Southern. Look like the underdogs on paper but can always surprise.
