I was gearing up to this turn up in this thread and let loose on Western Springs. But after reading both Herald articles... it's all coming across a bit hysterical.

For starters, according to the Herald, their initial letter to the board threatened "repetitional damages". Not a great way to start a discussion.

There is complaints around facilities and not being able to use the number 1 pitch. Which I find weird because as far as I'm aware they don't play on the same day as the men (who often play on Friday anyway).

There's complaints around coaches and physios. Ok.

But then the players go on to demand that the logo be redesigned because "it has a strongly phallic appearance"

Hmmmmmm.
