Hmm. Dunno. I'm supposed to be in Matamata on the Saturday as my mob are playing there. Dunno what time our kick-off is, a manic drive back could be on the cards.

Sunday game should be a definite goer tho'

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Wearing THOSE pants in West Auckland probably isn't a very good idea

Is it just me or does football in this country piss you off? Say one thing and do another
Look at this quote from the NZFC website:

"A final decision on which second leg semi-final would be scheduled on which day will not be made until March 16 after the first legs were complete to ensure the closest tie was reserved for a Sunday afternoon television slot"

Is Wellington being 0-1 down to Waitakere not closer than Auckland being 1-3 down to Manawatu?

Why, therefore is the Wellington game not on Sunday and therefore on TV?

Grrrrrr.

My bet ?

Some people are certain Waitak will win at home and the Auckland-centric view sees Auckland turning over a 2-0 deficit as better television.

Yeah either that or seeing a giant like auckland lose to manawatu.

Either way it is better viewing

Allegedly

Welp, my plans to go up and cheer for TW (and, since I 'd be up there anyway, YHM) have gone down the gurgler. All prepared to book my train ticket, but the site is messing up. Flights too expensive, and bus would just be a waste of a day (at least on a train I can read my textbooks)

F-king TranzScenic. Just have to hope TW makes the grand final (and, ideally, YHM)

If anyone is reading this in Auckland, bring a friend and avoid all those chores for another weekend.  There should be a decent crowd.  If Auckland win 3-1, they are out (but obviously we'll get 5!!??).  Waitak need to keep the gas on and sidestep any bananas.  Either way, I feel a goal fest coming on this weekend.

I shouldn't really butt in here, having only vaguely followed the NZFC, but just 403 spectators at the semifinal?

I remember Central league games that got more than that. What's going on?
