That- or you could be a normal student and attempt to work
excessive hours now so that you can bum around for the rest of
the year?

Cheers mate, glad to hear someone read it! Haha I might make a
thread on the main forum after/during O-Week bugging students to
join up for it.
I'd love to study up now, but since I'm changing degrees I haven't got most of the course materials yet. I've only got one relevant textbook at the moment and it's for a course I already passed...without reading the textbook. Gotta love working in the industry! (I'm dropping doing a Bio degree and an Education degree to only doing the latter....all my papers have been bio, did only one Education paper in 2007)
That being said, I'm thinking of either doing Italian or Spanish next year, I could brush up on those and get a head start...

Oh, my bad, I meant work excessive hours part time in a bar or
retail etc- don't go studying when you can help not doing it! Good
