Does it ever have the live score thing working?  It was touted as a way to keep up with the games as they happen, however whenever I look at it, nothing is there.  Is it just me?

maybe? I press "Wrap" next to the games (Under the Round 8 matches on the left) and there's a play by play down the bottom?

I used this method to find out that Otago had won a game. Craziness!

Surely that is a rhetorical question Vim?

What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?

Having whinged about the NZFC site, I have to say that my last visit to the Phoenix one was not much better,in fact there's is a bigger joke for something that is in essence a 'shop window'.

NZF have "employed" writers and photographers to cover the NZFC matches. Hence you will find someone like Bruce Holloway at Waikato will be typing in updates into the NZFC website as the match progresses. He also has to produce a preview usually by the Wednesday evening prior to a home game and then a match report (wrap) very shortly following the conclusion of the match. I think Gavin Searle does it at Canterbury, Rab Smith at Otago and the other franchises will have people appointed to do the same. These people are being paid, although was having a beer with Bruce over Xmas and he was owed for 5 games and hadn't been  paid....its the same for the photographers.
Hopefully that has been sorted. Bruce did make a comment that things seemed to operate better when you had guys like himself and I doing it for the love of the game. Just goes to illustrate that chucking money at it doesn't always create something professional. If you want to see a good example of a good kiwi club website check out Matamata Swifts at www.matamataswifts.co.nz
and if you want a good example of a poor website check out www.waikatofc.co.nz
I'd be embarrased to have any of my photos on that website in its current state. A shocker.
