Gutsy effort by Waikato FC to beat Auckland City FC 4-3 on their own turf at Kiwitea St in the Youth League yesterday! And that was with only 10 men on the pitch for the whole of the second half (1-1 at HT), with the coach also banished from the field! Waitakere and Waikato both remain unbeaten after 4 of the 6 Home and Away games.

Can't remember, either 3 or 4-0 Waitakere over HB.

Waikato 2- HBay2.
So Waitak on 13 pts, Waikato on 9 = Northern Semifinalists.
Next week it should be fun to see these two square off before the semi's start!
Anyone have current scores from the two southern games in progress atm?

Waikato win again and with 10 men again...
Discipline is an issue but some real prospects for the future for Waikato :)

HBU's flight to Auckland was cancelled due to an mechanical fault on the plane. I'm not sure what this means in terms of a rescheduled game or if it will just be cancelled. Jarod Smith was to play for them apparently. One lad drove 3hrs from Gisborne to Napier for the flight only to turn around and drive back after hearing of the cancellation!
Fuck this stupid game
