One more time, Waitakere United against Auckland City, this time its for a play off place in the O-League Finals against the Solomon side Koloale FC.  Will it be blue shirts or white shirts (with a fleck of red).

Come early, as there's only three ticket booths, last time there were close to 500 who came in after the kick off.  Douglas Fields, Henderson, 3pm, Sunday 5th April.  See you there.

Re travel to Honiara, your best bet is via Nadi, Fiji.

You'll need to fly to Nadi on April 24, overnight there, and get the 8am flight to Honiara.

The return trip leaves Honiara at 4pm Sunday local time.

Solomon Airlines also fly direct to Port Vila (a weekly Tuesday flight) and Brisbane. As far as I'm aware, that's the only airline which services Honiara Airport.

I don't envy you if you're going. I envisage the logistics could make it a bit of a financial nightmare. However, don't be at all surprised if OFC organises live TV coverage of both legs of the final on Sky.

Cheers,

A joke. I dont think Emblen did anything more or less than anyone else... And Uhlmann should be banned for life for that kick!

But anyway, I shall not complain too much. I think he booked some of the Waitak players far too harshly. It made for painful viewing, no doubt. At least Krishna scored, although I was mildly annoyed that no one would join in my chants of "We've only got one player"!

Saw Uhlmann in the stands after he got sent off - his ankle was black - reason he lashed out at Krishna was because Krishna kicked out studs up and caught. Not defending the kick he gave Krishna just saying Krishna is no angel and was lucky to sty on

bah, handbags.  is this game of ours no longer a game for men?

you've gotta be prepared to take the kicks on the chin (not literally) for the sake of your team.  uhlmann getting himself sent put his team at risk.  he was fortunate that emblen followed immediately.

I bet Krishna's ankles were black and blue from the kicking he go, this week and last. Indeed, he was lucky the emblen got sent off.
