I've been thinking, with the recent success of NZ Football and a rise in public awareness and media attention, and of course ACFC's performance over the last week... we should be trying to host one of these asap. I mean if Oceania are guaranteed direct entry, we should be given the opportunity to be hosts.

Yeah would be good, but we've already hosted the mens and womens u17 world cups which in my opinion are more highly valued tournaments than Club WC anyway. I'd be more keen to host the U21 World Cup to be fair.

Wouldn't generate as much money hosting it here.

Also we couldn't garuntee decent crowds.
Would be great and it seems only fair that this be the case, all regions should have turns at hosting.
Plus its no like Fifa needs the money.

Wouldn't mind it if the Phoenix are the host club, rather than having an OFC host club and OFC champion. Divvy the matches among Westpac, Lancaster and Eden Park and it might be do-able. Nice thought at least.

I can't see FIFA going for it. It's not much of a money spinner and there are better places to host a mini-tournament. But a Phoenix being the host club would be interesting.
