Mondercange are last in the division so this was a game that UTP will have been hoping to capitalise on, particularly since their stated aim over the second half of the campaign is to ensure they don’t slip any closer towards having to go through relegation playoffs. This’ll help that plenty.
They were in a bit of danger up until Faulds’ goal, with Mondercange pushing desperately for an equaliser, but then a mix-up between defender and goalkeeper allowed Faulds to pounce and convert into an open net. Sadly there’s no video, they don’t seem to even broadcast the games in Luxembourg unless the clubs take it upon themselves. You’ll just have to imagine what it looked like.
