This player, whom many here would recognise, seems to me to be the ideal player for the NZFC.  Does anyone know if he has been approched given his form for Fiji lately remembering that he's only 19.

According to Terry Maddaford in this mornings Herald he has signed for Waitakere. Looked good at the U 20`s. Has to do some work on his temperament.

Yeah timely article buy Terry

More importantly it is a brilliant marketing move by Waitakere, with so many Fijians in the Auckland area now likely to go along and watch their rising star play.
I'm predicting Waitakere might even get a crowd this year, which will make a change from the WAGS and bag handlers that turned up last year.
It will still be Auckland B though.

Rumoured that Waitakere have paid $50k...they sure are becoming the group of football mercenaries...can't all play... could be fireworks at some stage!!! Madness

Saw Krishna play in the Under 20 's earlier this year.
Was the outstanding player of the tournament and better than anything I saw in the NZFC last year. However temperament , as with rest of Fijian side , was an issue.

Yeah i have seen him play while i was in fiji, boy has got speed and talent, can be cocky at times but isnt that most stikers LOL. He could possibly be fiji's best player in the near future if coached correctly. Great buy

How did he play against NZ?

Not the dominant player you would expect, or that he was at the U-20's.

Incidentally he's not in the released Waitak squad for the OFC so I don't know what is going on there.

Apparantly he won't be allowed in the country - turns out his father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate is in the military

Cheers,

Kumar is listed in the Waitak O-League squad but Krishna isn't.  Be interesting to see the full NZFC squads.

Anyone here a Waitak fan ?

I'm really struggling to find one to help with a season preview.

Doesn't surprise me, its a bit of a step up from his current level of experience.

I'd rate him 6.5/10 which is not bad considering that the AW's played quite well and most of his team mates were rubbish
