Not playing for them. As i said I am not on anyones side in dunedin football. GB is just where i choose to watch the games. I use to love watching Laidler get stuck into his teams. Grants Braes will miss Ben Eder this year as he is of to cavy but all the best to him.

Feedback...
Don't compare yourself with Sonny, there is something seriously wrong there.. (we are talking about the flag waving NZer follower)
Christo...
I don't think the winter affiliations have anything to do with the poor performances of OU. The panic football played by OU is to blame.

There's only one Roslyn player in the Team so im sure that is not the reason they are not winning i hear there is a great team spirit but it's just not happening on the field thats all!
Feedback what you don't no isnt worth knowing

Truth...
Will still be the same top three this year
I think in future GI and Mosgiel could crack the top three. Not so much on the current GI's playing ability, more the organisation of the club.
Queenstown and to a lesser extent Uni can produce great teams but not over the whole season.
Though it saddens me to say this Southland is terrible (should be a lot better with the ILT money, time for Kenny to get a real job), they are making up numbers with GB and Northern.
The league appears to be split into three three levels and the gaps are huge.
Usual top three...
Middle four - GI, Mosgiel, Queenstown and Varsity
Bottom three - Southland, Northern and GB
Northern were by far abetter team than Varsity so must be middle four quality

Bigfoot, also known as Dave Shaw, is an alleged ape-like creature purportedly inhabiting football fields mainly in the Ellis Park region - FACT

I think it is fair to say the so called hatred between clubs is only skin deep. I know players socialise with other clubs during the winter and it is only good-hearted banter much of the time.
As for this division in Otago Utd with guys not letting go of spl alligences is just not true - maybe in previous years but I know for a FACT they get on well they just can't string a pass together.

lol well thats good to hear.
is it lack of playing time together? if they only play as a team x amount of weeks per year maybe the cohesion isnt there? or maybe it'll just take time if you can retain a core of solid players and bring in players that can better the squad.

braes will be rubbish as alwasy they belong in the fletcher cup. dunedin would lose nothing if the league were reduced to 3 teams. Tech Roslyn and cavy.... each team players the other six times. Making up a 12match season. The other 7 (so called first teams) sides play 5 aside at the edgar centre

Good idea but good younger players such as Jackson ect would rather play for the clubs than a youth team i would think

i would've said teambigfruit was a roslyn player?
as for age group how young would you start them? 16? you'd need players in there 20's as well or even older, kinda like what the a-league has done. is the player talent pool that big and would this help? not sure there may need to be other systems in place to make sure these guys will better off in this team than a club side.
