When you say "paid" in reference to the Otago United side do you mean a weekly payment or what? How much total do Otago United owe? There can't be that much money in the Otago United account - particularly when it is run as an incorporated society (i.e. not for profit).
When you say Colin has been "paid and gone" do you mean he has left and won't be turning out for Mosgiel?

I just got word Fridge had put out an SOS to former Tech great Judda Flaws to dust of the boots and turn up at at 9am at tauhuna park with Rickerby injured and no other wide players living up to there high salaries and bigger reputations at training,now this could be the signing of the summer to surpass even rickerby qnd Macraes!!
