Not far into the season and four teams are clearing out from the rest...
The great pretenders Mosgiel are trying to muscle into the tight three..
Not sure what has happened to all the promise? with Green Island... maybe it was my imagination.
Southland looked slightly better than last season but showed the weakness of having a player coach. Took too long to change on saturday.

Tech to win 3-0.
Both teams will be up for this game but the way that Tech outplayed the Scum which horses head seems to talk up all the time I dont see why they cant go ahead and do the same to a cavy side who lost to Mollywood. Burgess ran the show again last week and I dont see why he wont again this week - milked TB for a pen then took the mic out of another scum player tocreate the second.
I have also heard that the cavy keeper is that bad that they are having turn about in goal - luckily for Tech this week it is Horners turn to be in goal - theres no way he will be wanting to hurt those beautiful hands of his. So I dont see him throwing himself in the way of any of burgess's pile drivers.
Been a bit busy during the week the past few weeks boys but will have odds up by tommorrow lunch time.

Well i can see why they wont...The scum are crap and they dont have any defenders near the class of horner wild and smith to handle burgess,im not saying the will but they have alot more chance than old Pies boylan!

Ok iam going to break it down for you guys! First of all saw the tech cavvy game thought both teams did well, two great goals by tech and one goody from cavvy. Tech backline GOOD, Andy Coburn GOOD burgie did well until injury struck. Thought it was a good team cavvy put out but jackson and dugdale were shut out of the game and deeley was up to f**k all. Will be good when mackenzie gets back for tech. Rickerby would be a goal scoring machine if he just stayed onside! Didnt see the other games being played didnt really want to to be honest waste of time!!
P.s who the f**k was that freakshow with the headband on at the game today playing left back? i mean cummon!!

Mosgiel 5 GI 2...
Very good game to watch in the Sun, Though Mosgiel have two 40+ players they were a step above GI in class.
GI were too one dimensional to win the game, wrong options taken.
Stand outs for me were right winger for Mosgiel, put in a few good crosses..
Mosgiel's centre back look good..

As one of the old guard at Tech I am often privy to selection issues however even I was surprised by the decision to roll out a head band at left back! I didn't see the game so can't comment on how the chap played but a head band... really! I mean WTF!
Wasn't best pleased to hear about the hand bags between the Tech and Cavy boys in town later either. Eye witness accounts anyone? Any arrests Rickerby?

I have been the Physiotherapist to Otago United, New Zealand Secondary Schools Football, Otago Youth Development Football, New Zealand Womans federation Football along with various other sporting teams. Fair call, but that doesn't worry me one bit, and i'd prefer not to be called a muppet.. i've watched him play once and played agains't him surely otago united had better
He was one of 4 under 20 players that had to be on the roster...Name a better under 20 player that wasnt in the squad?
