With Mosgiel back to full strength this weekend they will have no excuses if they don't come out with the points? Big game for them to take into next season

Almost right...

Bigger news yeah I'm with you on that - but the Mosgiel v Tech game will be a cracker I reckon.  Lot's of wounded pride out on the plains - their key players need to find their A-games and some mental stability if they are to get one over Tech though.  My prediction: Mosgiel 2 Tech 2.

I agree good opportunity for mosgiel players to be seen from southern coach here could be make or break for some of them and good to see who the pretenders are for tech.

think it will be a close game

Gotta say all this chit chat about Regan being less than anyone is not quite right.  Is he fit now?  If so he's just first by miles - well maybe first equal with TJ by miles.

You have obviously been drinking with davto222. That would be like comparing Balloteli to Suarez. Don't get me wrong, regan is good but Jackson is a different level

TJ best player in the league by a longshot, from what ive seen of the other strikers, Regan definitely second and easily wins the battle over Stewart

Drinking? Yes of course.  But watch this from about 5.00 min on and then tell me he's not something special. See Jacko score a goal like that in the NL yet?

Don't get carried away. Good finish but you would expect a national league player to hit the target from 12 yards ?

This isn't even a debate is it?

You would expect it from Regan, yes - and he did finish it well didn't he? And it wasn't just a 12 yard tap in either was it?  So thank you for making the point about his quality as a national league player.  It's not a debate, I agree.  Just repeating myself that Regan is top drawer - as is TJ. And please post a clip of TJ hitting the target in a national league game as well as that.  Would love to see them both in a Southern jersey together.  Sadly it won't happen in 2015/16.

I think he is quality and lethal when fit. I was just saying he's never going to score 10 goals and carry a team through a national league season

He's only won 8, but for good friends like TK and Jesse I'm sure he would do that

Congratulations Caversham.  Tech are close but the rest are light years back.  Since 2000 Caversham have finished 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 1st.  How do they keep doing it?  If they ever came 3rd it would be a major catastrophe.  I'd like to hear some educated thoughts (the stupid ones will comel so no need to ask) on this because there's no record like in New Zealand football in recent times.

That is an impressive sporting record, however I'm quite content with my one fletcher cup medal and being that special wee someone who you thought about before going to sleep this season wrongin. Additionally the people and atmosphere on the plains surmounts the matchbox of elite. If we can get onto a couple of premier club rugby hookers like Peter Mierelles and Sekonia Pole to sign for some big throws next season and some big locks to lumber into the box we might be alright. In other news on Thursday night I witnessed a certain caversham player slap a girl in the face and proclaim to Mosgiel and tech players alike that they had won the league

Firstly, Congrats to Caversham on the league. Secondly, great  to see ex Tech/Mosgiel/GI man Matt McKay get his hands on the Premier League trophy in the weekend, thoroughly deserved.

TK, please enlighten us on the domestic abuse scandal set to rear it's head at Tonga?

A full strength Mosgiel only manage one goal against Tech? wasn't from open play was it?

it's really quiet embarrassing how much they talked it and and have came up with nothing in the second half of the season. Lessons learnt on the plans I hope

i do believe Mosgiel also scored a pen against Caversham in the 10-1 loss & a header from a free kick in the 6-1 loss against Tech in the cup?

2 horse race in the end......Good article in the Nelson Mail about a South Island league. Surely something has to change; this might be the solution. Haven't come across a player who doesn't want this yet - just need the administration at Football South to wake up and smell the tripe coming out of the plains.

Dunedin only has two teams that could hold their own in that comp which could be a problem

Forget about holding your own, how many clubs in Dunedin [not the plains note] could afford two weekends away just to get triped.

They pulled the pin & joined the Southland comp to focus on developing younger local players, didn't fancy getting beat 10-1, 7-0 etc
