Whatever Scottie.. If you want to change the name to Dunedin Tech+ and play at Culling Park go ahead..

Having played for RW and one other against DT and never worn a DT shirt don't see myself being a Culling Park lad.

Oh so did playing in giggle give the lads a better shot at getting 3 points?

Never in my world [or the club I play for] do you play any game when the team travel that long on a bus and you don't go the day before.

Let's deal with some facts.

FBS pitch is being dug up and relaid so not an option.

Tahuna and Memorial were both presented as options by SU to NZF who have both said no for Prem games.

The Caledonian is booked by Athletics.

The only other NZFC/ASB Prem venue in Dunedin is now a pile of dust and rubble.

Rugby Park was the only option.

Anyhow, onto the game today. Southern were desperately unlucky. Dominated, and I mean really dominated the first half. All 4 players on the flanks (McLennan, Howard, Hindson, Ferg) were having strong games and imposing themselves well. Should have scored at least twice, if not 4 times in the first 15 minutes. Conceded 2 very soft goals.

Nix were better in the second half and in particular the last 15, but this is certainly a game that Southern should have won.
