Really sad news filtered in over the weekend of the passing of Brent Best. 'Besty' was a bit of a character, I know he (like most officials) used to cop a bit of stick from the sideline but he was obviously pretty darn good at what he did. You don't go to World Cup otherwise. Always a good bugger to have a yarn with over a beer. He was only 48. RIP Besty.
