Exactly. Plus, if he has lived here for 10 of his 22 years and went to high school here, surely he should be seen as a South Islander. He can easily get citizenship, not sure how long that process takes though. With no commitments to winter teams, it's possible to think he might stay on and play in Dunedin next year too.
