Curious neutral: Excuse me club, why don't you get some tech minded, social media savvy, trust worthy person with some spare time to do Social Media for your club and live stream games and pay with them with some spare cash?
Club: We decided to me more realistic and asked Santa for someone to come along and help clean up after club functions and at the end of the year; and if we had been particularly good for some large benefactor to come along and alleviate the cash flow struggles. Unfortunately all we got were a load of mini-balls and some drink bottles for the Juniors from Maccas via NZ Football. Sigh...

Plenty of negative views on this point it seems, but i'm happy to be part of the minority. Pretty much all clubs film their games anyway, and most clubs have social media pages, so what's the issue? The foundations seem to be there. And don't give me that rubbish about having no money, everyone knows premier men's coaches are paid for their time, and some clubs pay players too. Exposure is good for the whole club, excessive payments to players/coaches are only good for that individual.
This was just an idea floated out there, as i'm sure many have done before. I start to think it is no surprise that nobody has tried to solve this issue or at the very least get creative, as almost everyone who has replied to me has just put it in the 'too hard' basket.
