Heard that  Jack Kirkwood still only 16  he's been playing 1st grade for 2 seasons now,shit they blood them early at GI.Heard Malc got him when things weren't working out at Mosgiel, shit not the only one to be rescued from the old peoples home eh.GreenOnion any of these young guy's playing youth this year  Smith, Jackson, Kirkwood. Been to a couple of games this year not seen them, sure they played last year.

Ah solid sanity talk thank you YOLO.  Yeah you make a very good point - it's great for us Krishna did his hammy - he's the most under-rated striker in NZ and would give Matt and Jude problems with his movement and guile I think.  They will likely start Nicolic and de Vries up front now, so Matt and Benjude should just hit them hard and fair if they are smart because I think they are both a bit feeble. We must be defensive at the start and go five at the back with Horner and frustrate them for the first half, even for 60-70.  No worries with Tom and Ferg if they stay tight, or with blue steel out right and Aajay out left (even though it's not his natural position - if he get's behind the ball OOP and holds it up well IP he will do well).  Now we must also go with Victor and Mepham in the middle, because Gannon has no defensive brain at all - Regan alone up front will still give them the shits with his pace and shooting ability, so we are OK there.  Now here's the down and dirty.  RM is Mr so very freekin nice.  But I would be telling the players to get into Prattley and Myer's ears - big time.  They are both classy but very easy yellow card material.  Unsettle them all across the park, but those two especially because of their Dunedin links - they are vulnerable because they will be trying to strut their stuff at the FB.

Big G I'm chilled totally.  I like Malc - he's a good mate.  I like GI too, except for the green shirts.  I wish you all the best for 2013 truly.  You won't win IMO, but you will do just grand.

Great day off for the ol' Waitangi. Spent the afternoon kicking the pig skin round with the kids at the centre of world football (sunnyvale ofcourse). Plenty of action on the forum during my day off. You've always been my favourite Rooster. Taylor scoring yesterday for the youth has gone unmentioned which is a crime! the kid should slot straight into the starting XI this week against Waitakere. Him and Joel (even injured he's the best player in the league) up top with Gannon in the middle and they may just be able to carry the other 8 guys through to a win.

Rumours are Otago united are going to be replaced by Green Island in the Nat League next year......about bloody time
