Pretty good result for Christchurch United to win 5-1 despite going down to 10 men after only 25 minutes. Score was 2-0 at the time so they scored 3 and only conceded 1 with 10 on the pitch

Garbhan left last week and is away for at least two months with his wedding mid-July. Tom Schwarz, Lyle Matthysen, Sam Lapslie and Dan Terris (coach) will be heading over for the ceremony.

Garbhan left last week and is away for at least two months with his wedding mid-July. Tom Schwarz, Lyle Matthysen, Sam Lapslie and Dan Terris (coach) will be heading over for the ceremony.

He might come back and still be top goal scorer.

Hello everyone. Below is my piece from the UC vs Nomads match.

Surprised at how close the Tech vs Ferrymead game ended up being. Cashmere Tech have been pretty free scoring as of late so wasn't expecting just a 1 goal difference.

Chch Utd got another good win, Nelson Suburbs didn't seem to offer much of a threat - and I also felt 1 or 2 of the goals should've been saveable by the keeper

Ferrymead have always been a bit of a bogey team for Cashmere, (Last year they drew, but also lost 6-2). Last year was similar with Chch United too, taking them to extra time in the Chatham cup, and losing 1-0 in the English Cup. Ferrymead have always shown they have a result in them, but can crumble very quickly aswell.

Cashmere Technical vs. Christchurch United should be an intresting game with both Cashmere and United losing to Coastal and Nomads respectively, in the Chatham Cup today. Also with Cashmere losing key playes such as Garbhan Coughlan for a while and United appearing to be a weaker side this year, might be the weakest derby we have seen in a while.
