Reasonable Player from what i've heard but in answer to your question i highly hope so but i highly doubt it.
As much as I love OUFC we are doomed

OtagoFan - I applaud you optimism but you have to be a bit more level headed on the merits of the Otago Team.
They were always going to be in the bottom four. The quality across the paddock is not up to the level of the other teams.
How many of the current squad would get into YHM, Auckland and Waitakere.. haven''t seen HB, Waikato or Welly..yet.
Ill still be down at the Vale hoping they win every game.

Truth, come on...
The only one I think would be picked up is Little, even after my rant..
Coburn is a tough one, really like his play but just get the feeling that he doesn't stamp his authority on a game.
Gardner has only one foot, cuts down what he can contribute
Burgess is class but lacks the pace for an out and out striker. Could be that he isn't getting the service as everyone is under pressure, may look better in a team going forward.
Dugdale does well but doesn't bring anything special.. journeyman?
Falvey? where did that come from.
Horner, I don't know as I haven't watched his play.
The young fella with the long throw has impressed, Jackson?. He looks like he is handling the physical side and will develop.

Christ, Dino10 and Otagofan I think it is a bit early to be writing them off if you ask me. Yes it is true they are not the most gifted squad in the world but relative to 6 of the 8 NZFC teams do you think they are that far off. Now I have watched 4 years of the NZFC and the likes of Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Waikato etc don't exactly set the world on fire either. So to say our players wouldn't fit into Manawatu is ridiculous (did you watch the game at Sunnyvale, Manawatu were awful for 75 minutes). These games can go either way and with a couple of players to come in, it will only take one decent run to get them to play-offs.
Think the only legitimate thing to come from the spiel above is Jackson - I think with the right coaching he could be a really good player and go on to some great things.

Back to Stu Kelly, where will Phelan play him? Does it mean leaving out Scoullar (when fit)? Burgess?
To the point about him making a difference - No, they'll still be down the bottom of the league

Ha ha, actually for a moment there I thought that you meant Phil Kelly and I was thinking, hang on, why would they bring him out of retirement? But no, sorry I haven't seen much of Stuart Kelly playing.

Kelly is a meat head. Has issues with other coaches not allowing him to have a say in the team. Also a bit of an idiot when on the field/off the field.
ive got a song that wont take long, Adelaide are rubbish.. the second verse is same as the first.. ADELAIDE ARE RUBBISH

I suspect there's more and if not I'd still like to hear something.

He is all of these things, everyone hates playing against him in Canterbury. Gets himself sent off for doing dumb crap on the field, such as kicking/retaliation
No big loss for Canty

Just go into frontrunner by the bus exchange and visit him. No doubt he will spill what happened.

He looked pretty good against team Welly. Him and Jackson would've been their two best. Not bad considering it was his first game.
