It is however against the established rules of this forum.  No Text speak.

Point 7.

... and we can definitely do something about it on here.

Urgh, I don't even use txt speak when I'm texting!

As a young person and a future teacher, I must say whoever authorised the use of txt speak in exams deserves to be shot. I'm not going to let my kids get away with it.

Getting off topic is also against the rules of this forum.  So stop it...

Any thoughts on the match on the weekend vs Manawatu 2-1 win???

Out and out striker seems to be the main problem.
Movement and passing was not of a very high quality.

Good to get a win but Im sure the boys all know that they will need to improve before they play Canterbury and ultimately the Auckland teams in the playoffs.

lucky to get a win i think a draw wouldv been a fair result. The passing just seemed to be aimless, like there was no real productivity to the football that they were playing, it wasnt goin anywhere in a sense making triangles, one-two's, getting it wide and crossing.

I thought YHs interchange and passing was much better than TW and maybe a draw was a fair result.

On paper, TW should really put away the Central and Southern region teams - theres enough experience in the team to be competitive.

I think TW maybe lacks a general in the midfield who can dominate like George B but Zaan and Peters worked hard (but can't recall if madden or eager were around or available and how come Admir was subbed) and great to see greene back with blackburn, millyn, leighton and co good wing options but they lack another Rudi, a centre forward (someone physically, tall and strong to dominate and hold the ball up for the wingers and mf). Cant remember his name but where is that tall striker from Lower Hutt?

Defensively, I think the Central Defender was outstanding and will terrify a teams - he is very sound.

So great to watch the game in "Ptown" and hope to make a few games to see the up and coming TW 1st players.

I see that the new Auckland-Manukau yoof mob made it 3 wins out of 3 at the weekend, beat Waitakere United 5 - 0.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

By the big two you obviously meant the powerhouses of youth football from the chiefs franchise area(sorry to use a thugby term)

weekend just gone
manukau 5 waitakere 0
auckland 2 waikato  5- daniel finlay cut thier midfield up got the first goal that started the rot

Well, obviously!!

Hey, I live in Pukekohe and the first week we were there we were informed by the Sky installer that "You're in Chiefs country now".  A-M are off to a great start, hope they can keep it up. Been better if they'd dropped Auckland from the name.  Counties Manukau?
