Kind of OFC related, the Solomon Islands S-League is now running.
Given that Koloale are part of this, I'll be keeping an eye on this.
Another league in the Pacific is great news for the profile of the game and a great opportunity for all the players.

Round 2 Kossa suffered a heavy defeat to Koloale 7-2, with Ben Totori (ex-Waitakere) scoring 2 along with two from Ian Paia and another from Lency Saeni.
Marist have the same points as Koloale after beating Kakamore, with a classy goal from Bentley Nalangu.
Malaita (despite past form and shots on goal) fell to Western 2-0.  Goalie Felix Ray making a huge impact for Western.

Round 3
Kossa 3-0 over Real Kakamora (The Hobbits) [southern islands - Makira Ulawa Province ]
Game started with an own goal from Dagi, second half goals to Philip Ashley in clear space and Cliff Wate.  Wate could have made it more with better crosses.
Egeta created chances and made 4 shots on goal.
Unfortunate double red card for Gerald Boka (Real Kakamora) & David Ramosaea (Kossa) just before half time.
Solomon Warriors 2-0 over Malaita
Kim Tegerobo (Malaita) had four shots on goal, a one on one with the goal just before half time, but sent it over the bar.
Warriors (early season favourites) had a goal a piece in each half, through Furai and George Lui.  Excellent crosses and feeders from Kidstone Billy.

So Koloale stay top of the table.

Week 4
James Naka and Fred Hale (gk) returned from the FIFA Beach Football competition in Tahiti to help Kidstone Billy and the Solomon Warriors put in a solid performance.  Ultimately Koloale ran out 1-0 winners with a goal from Ian Paia, from a break by Benjamin Totori (ex Waitak).
Kossa surprised 2nd placed Marist 3 nil, with goals (again) from James Egeta, Lamani and Samani.  Marist had a goal disallowed for off side very early on.
Western 2-0 over Kakamore who are yet to register a goal or a point.  Good passing from John Anita to Nathan Kera created the first goal.  Kakamore kept more possession than in previous games to improve their chances but ultimately Western's attacked bore fruit. This now puts Western second on the table.
Malaita found a very late winner 2-1 over Hana.

Warriors 1- Western 1. Pressure from  Nathan Kera and Himson Teleda paid off in the 22nd min to open the scoring from Western.  Kwanae was red carded for a high tackle on Kera, leaving Warriors with 10 men.  James Naka, Felix Ray Jr combined to put  Ifunaoa through in 71min to equalise for the Solomon Warriors.

Hana 2 - Marist 2
Marist were expected to win but survived with a penalty in extra time, to draw.

Kossa 1- Malaita 0
Malaita did well to hold Kossa to a one goal deficit with heavy defending on both sides.
Leaalafa scored in the 66th minute for Kossa, after a powerful shot that was to hard for the Malaita goalkeeper control.

Luis Garcia; How on earth did Gagame Feni not make the Solomon Island under-20 squad?

Makes me wonder if he is expected to play over there.   Seen him twice, always impressed.
