Auckland City and Waitakere United are both advertising for head coaches for next season.

Waitak haven't sacked Milicich but his contract has expired and they're  interviewing for the position - so you have to think that Milicich has effectively been let go.

Who will be in charge of who at kick off next season.

My picks:
Milicich to Auckland City - he has CWC experience and has done well there plus the last three letters of his surname can't hurt.
Hay/Emblem partnership at Waitakere.

Thoughts?

Love it, he should turn up with an "I love Dubrovnic" tee shirt.

Any more news on coaches?
ACFC - Posa stepped down, replacement?
Waitakere - Milicich asked to reapply?
Waikato - rumour to be replacing Edmonson (Parker/Fletcher)
YHM - Sova to continue?
Hawkes Bay - Gould to Phoenix. Bobby Gould rumoured to replace Jon?
Team Wellington - Stu Jacobs to continue although he is rumoured to be in for the ACFC job?
Canterbury - Monsieff resigned, replacement??
Otago - Phelan to continue?

Anyone any info on these positions, fact fiction or otherwise?

Would be a MAJOR coup if the Shore get their sh*t together enough to enter.... Eastern Suburbs more likely for me.

Wouldn't a new team in Auckland on the Shore be based at East Coast Bays or Glenfield? Why would Jacobs wish to coach in Auckland? Doesn't he still have the Wellington job? Is this related to the rumour that the Phoenix are gonna set up a youth team in the Auckland league? Ahhh so many questions. Heres what i;ve heard....Milly to Auckland City, Hay/Emblem to Waitak and Paul Parker to Waikato.

Parker and Fletcher signed to coach Waikato FC. Big signings due on the player front! Edmonson out and the team back playing at Waikato Stadium!

I hope Parker doesn't send Waikato bust - how can they afford the Stadium rent

Chandler appointed as HBU coach and seen in Hamilton this week, raiding his old stomping ground?
Still no news on Waikato, Canterbury or Auckland City? Presuming Phelan back at Otago, Sova back at YHM, Emblem taken over at Waitak, Jacobs staying at TW?

How does Phelan keep his job down there?  No success on the park, no success in bringing in imports, plus they have large staffing costs compared to the other franchises (have a look at their accounts, bigger than just about everyone other than the Auckland guys), which he must contribute to, and then you've got Steve Fleming, who while not everyone's cup of tea wins the league every year.

I think Stu will give it one last year at TW, he's ambitious and he'll want a go at the OCL.  Disappointing but I think you can understand it

Steve Fleming will never be considered while Marc Chidley is there, doesn't matter how good a coach he is.

Is Edmonson definitely back at Waikato?
Nothing has been reported and heard he is up for the Auckland City position???

Sure Edmondson wasn't just watching Three Kings because the Ngara game was off, and they are due to play them in the NRFL?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I have heard it suggested around the trraps that Waikato FC may have left its run a bit late again, with several leading Hamilton players having already been tapped up by other clubs. Any comment on that, Raffy? Or Mr Waikato?

Surely not...

Who?

I imagine the ones already playing at Auckland City (Matt Williams, Matt Friel) and Waitakere (Aaron Scott, Danny Robinson) will stay there?

Who else has headed elsewhere?

And of course Marco to the Phoenix.

Haha, why, because their nights out will be safer or because he wont be coaching them? I hear he was approached when Gould left to go to the Phoenix??

As an aside how did he (Edmondons) get on sitting his recent coaching badge. Surely that shows the commitment he is prepared to put into his coaching career.

A dog with a bone :)
