I was listening to C4 at the gym last night and they were
interviewing two guys from a US football team that was on tour
here. They mentioned that some of their players were trialing for
semi-pro teams here. They were in Auckland so I assume it was
either Waitakere or Auckland City. Anyone got any more info on
this.
Boomer Kotchin, a striker at Melville United might be in the WFC
squad. He came over when Steven Holloway came back following his
Monmouth University graduation. A fellow Monmouth University
footballer. Quite useful but I don't know if he's any better than
say Wupet Wyan.
the news down at team wellington is that they are trying to fill
all their guest spots, with players from the usa and the uk
trialing in the next few weeks.
should be a fair few yanks in the league next year
