played little football - all long ball especially when Emblen came on for Kopricivic, although that was the turning point.

No one in midfield for Waitakere - must have got sore heads as basic drill was Perry and Pascoe to pump ball down sideline.

Hay looked fit at the moment. No one really impressed for them but early days. Dallys were delighted when Man U went 1-0 up and were perhaps unlucky not to extend that until totori poached one and Emblen cracked one in in last 15 minutes.

By the way facilities were diabolical at fred taylor - cheerleader Dewhurst will undoubtedly point out that it will be fixed next week but it is now the fourth season of NZFC and Waitakere have not complied with the facilities criteria yet ! and will not this season. Dawkins gets away with murder.

Yeah, I've wondered about that.  Otago, the ony other team with really crap facilities now plays at Carisbrook yet, Waitak, who is off to the World Club Champs in December have worse facilities that half of NZs amatuer clubs.

 

C'mon NZF put pressure on Waitak to spend their coin on facilites instead of wasting it on players.  If AKL A can do it, surely AKL B can too.

Fred taylor park is one of the worst Northern League grounds yet theyt are allowed to use it for NZFC !

Still I'll be there on Saturday - perhaps they will have some seating then.
