Stays on the bench as Chemnitzer (2nd last) get a valuable point, with a 1-1 draw at 6th placed Ingolstadt

Watches a 3-1 win over Kaiserslautern in Liga 3 from the pine.

Chemnitzer FC up to 16th, one spot above Kaiserlautern and relegation zone. Bottom 4 relegated.

Gets 20 mins off the bench in a 3-3 draw verus fellow strugglers Preußen Münster (19th)

Score 2-2 when he came on.

Chemnitzer FC are 17th in Liga 3.

Shows that AWs strength still remains at the defensive end, when a guy getting minutes at this level is unlikely to make AWS squad (unless is a few unavailabilities).

Chemnitzer FC and Thomas Doyle solve contract

The Chemnitzer FC has on Wednesday, 11/27/2019 the employment contract with Thomas Doyle with effect from 30.11.2019 dissolved. The separation was at the personal request of the player.

"Thomas came to us a few days ago with a desire to break up the treaty and asked to return to his homeland. He took a huge step in the summer of this year when, after 27 years in New Zealand, he moved to Europe for the first time. Unfortunately, it pulls him back faster than we all, even Thomas himself, have thought possible, "said CFC CEO Uwe Hildebrand . "We regret his decision very much, but at the same time fully understand that Thomas wants back to his family. Even for a professional footballer, there is a point where there is something more important than football. I wish Thomas all the best on behalf of the entire Chemnitzer FC. "

Thomas Doyle moved from New Zealand first division Wellington Phoenix to Gellertstraße in July 2019. In the current season, the left-back came to a total of eight missions (6 x 3rd league, 2 x Wernesgrüner Sachsenpokal).

"With Thomas we lose not only a tough defender but also a very fine man. I am grateful to Thomas for speaking so openly with us and giving us the opportunity to respond to this failure early on. We want to close the gap left by Thomas in a timely manner, "said Patrick Glöckner , head coach of Chemnitzer FC.

I definitely think we need to be planning for life without him given how good he was today!
