Wellington derby Sunday 20th @2pm

Hey all. Just wondering who is heading along, thinking of heading to my first weenix game for it. Never bee to the park etc what's parking like or is someone driving through northland that could be keen to give me a ride?

Catch bus to Railway Station. Then Dom Post ferry to Seatoun Wharf. Then 15 mins to Karaka Bay. Then up & down Awa Rd to Darlington. Turn right. Then left to Weka. Then to D Farrington. Bon voyage.

Catch shuttle to Whangarei airport, catch flight to Akld, wiat at airport, then catch flight to Wgtn. Shuttle bus from airport to Dave Farrington .

Ok funny guys - get a day tripper on the bus from Northland Wgtn to station take a #2 to Miramar Ask the driver to direct u to Weta cave then walk north 200m to #DFPark. Then reverse for a day of fun for less than a Heineken in Melbourne.  Show the guy on the BBQ the day tripper for a free sausage ⚽️

Do you give free sausage to anyone with a day tripper or just ones from Northland?

Also I take it parking is pretty non existant??

If you want to park right at the ground, forget it, but can usually park on the street and have a 5 - 10 min walk

No.  That's $1.

Parking is not horrific because fudge all people go.  Furthest I have had to park is 200 metres near Weta Cve but if you are 20 minutes earlier you can be 50 metres from the gate.

you do have to walk up a gentle slope from weta though. Quite exhausting.

....One player Merrick won't have the services of is emerging midfield star Alex Rufer. The 19-year-old badly broke his leg in Sunday's match between the Phoenix Reserves and Team Wellington and is gone for the season.

Musa's got (at least) another season for St Louis FC. The season's in NZ and the US don't overlap as such but there is an Oceania Champions League campaign that might be appealing for him to take part in.  

Final thing to add, will the Phoenix even be around next year (and beyond)?

Musa has been pretty impressive all season for TeeDubs on attack and defence.
